Drying A Big Cola

I have a larger cola that I don't want to ruin by getting mold. Normally, I'd chop some off and dry/cure with no problems. But, it's kinda pretty so I'm thinking of entering it into NOTM next month and want to keep it intact. Main concern is deep inside where I can't see what's going on.

Here's what I got going:
Cola - 8 1/2"x4" at widest, 42 grams at harvest, 35 grams at 72 hours drying as of this post, not very crispy on the outside and is sticky/spongy to touch
Dark closet roughly 65-70 degrees, 40% humidity with fan circulating

If some experienced peeps can guide me through the rest of this process or give suggestions, it would be most helpful and appreciated!

sounds like a nice 12-14 gram dried bud! lol.

anyways, just keep her drying in the air. sounds like you're on track.

once you are fairly confident its dry, put it in a jar, and check on it periodically, if it "gets wet" again, take it out and let it dry some more, its just the moisture from the middle coming out.

takes a few times to get drying/curing down pat
