How to safely dry XL colas?

Been growing couple years now (random good bagseed) and I average around 2 1/2 oz a plant...with my most recent grow I decided to purchase seeds from reputable banks and now I feel like I've crossed a new threshold...I was used to 2 oz plants but now I'm staring at what might very well be a 2 oz single cola and I'm wondering if I should dry it as normal by leaving it hung or break it up and put it on the dry screen...just really worried about mold with these buds

I would break them up , seen a member here with beautiful colas and then they started to rot as he dried , smaller bud are better than big buds with mold and enjoy

Can look into bud washing as well. It will get rid of your mold spores if they are there and it will help with drying. My flowers dry almost 2x faster with a bud wash.

Big colas - good problem to have.

I don't like to break them up because they get flat spots during the drying process. I dont like the look of them with the flat spots so I just hang dry just need to keep the RH below 60% that's key.
