Hello guys,
I'm going to talk about my latest hobby. Going strait to the point, this is more of a experiment than actually trying to get something out of this, I don't really smoke all that much, more like once a week, I used all the resources available at hand and had little money to spend to start with.
I'm sharing this with you all because it actually went way further than I expected, I'm proud of what I have already, and since I got this far, It wouldn't hurt to share with you guys In hope to get some guidance till the end.
Lets do dis:
- Strains: Orange Bud, 3 seeds. The best smoke I ever had, if I had to try something like this, It would have to be Orange Bud, got them from The Dutch Passion.
- As a tent I use one IKEA's closet, and it actually looks like a tent and has 2 metal nets so it's good for a scrog, and covered the interior with Kitchen Foil.
- The reflector that accommodates the ligts is a true DIY structure using cardboard and kitchen foil.
- For lights - veg time: I bought 8 CFLs from ebay, iirc 24w, 5600k temp, 1500 lumens each.
- For lights - flower time: I bought from different grocery stores different lights - 6 CFLs 30w 2000 lumens each, and 4 LED lamps, 2x1500 lumens, and 2x2000 lumens, all around 2800k and 3000k temp.
- Containers: Cant tell the size, bought them just judging by its size. Look and the photos and see for yourself.
- Medium: Soil, got it form grocery store.
- Temperature: Dont have a clue, but its Mediterranean climate so u get the picture, form hot to very hot.
- Humidity: As of today, 55%
- ph control: None
- Ventilation: None, but the tent is located directly below the roof, and the roof is made of wood structure and ceramic plates, plenty of air going though.
- Nutrients: None in veg stage but I'll try to get some nutes now, i've read a lot and it seems it makes a world of difference.
Note: I have no experience whatsoever, so while I have heard of plant training I was afraid of hurting them and screwing the hole thing, but I've read that it is still possible to do some bending till 3rd week of flowering, so I did some soft bending so the lower parts of the plant also get some light as u can see in the photos.
The Journal itself:
Seeding day was in the first days of April. Form the stat to flower switch, lights ran on 24/0

The switch to 12/12 happened at 8-5-2017 (so it was a little over 1 month vegging)
