I dont know about mh lights but if its similar to hps anything between 18-24 is gd. What soil are you using, does it contain nutes? Bloom nutes? if you need any nutes it would be grow

hi Herby40 I don't think there are nutes in the soul it is a mix I made since we dont have good soils like the usa. I think I will give them a l;ittle grow big also today or do you guys think there to young? they are only 7 days old

Hello everyone the plants are growing well just a one problem last night temps drop to 17outside and my grow tent droped to24.5 c the humiditiy went from 65% to 28-33% what should I do? I can't buy a humidifier until next week . Will they stop growing if the hum is to low? thank you guys

day 13 of seedlings. they are getting bigger everyday. I feed them today fox farms grow big 1/4 and big bloom . I want to make a organic compost tea for them soon but I don't know what i need? Any one make them here? remember im in china so need to be able to

They are looking fine so far as I can see. The lower humidity won't slow growth at all. If anything it will speed it up as the plants can get rid of water faster so process more nutes into faster growth. Be careful they don't dry out tho.
If you are using real soil then there will be some natural nutes in it so I wouldn't worry about feeding too much yet or you could burn them.
I don't know squat about using teas to feed so you'll need to read a few of the organic journals or check that forum for more info.

how much longer should I veg these plants???? I will have two 1000 watt hps for flowering. I don't know if this is sativa or indica any one have any ideas? my tent is only 6.5feet tall so need peoples help thank you

nd if they are sitiva or indica? I can't let them get more then 3 and half feet tall the light would burn them if the get taller then that. plwase someone help

They look more indica than sativa to me and either one can be height controlled thru training or topping. Some look like they could use a light feeding. Say 1/4 of the maximum for now to see how they respond.
Statistically, about half of them are going to be males. so you will end up culling those. If they are going to show pre-flowers so you can determine sex it can take 6 weeks or more if they do at all.
18" above plants that aren't seedlings any more should be good for a 1000W light. A nice oscillating fan blowing above the tops so the plants are stirring will keep them happy and they will grow fast in the strong light.
Looking pretty good so far!

thanks Oldmed user I think I will flip the light 12/12 may in 8-12 days from now. I have just transplanted them in to 7 gallon pots two days ago. and topped them 4 days ago . when I transplanted them I gave them a light feeding and yesterday I watered them. I order some earth juice online and another 1000 watt light I think two will do well with this grow what do you think? I hope this medice helps with my back pain and sleepless nights. hope you are well and thank you for helping me.

tjanks Buzzlightyear i just added another light today and a intake fan but it is toohot in there now. 28.5 c or 85f i hope the plants will be safe.

My buddy has an 8 x 4ft tent and I figured my 1000W on a 6ft light rail would do the whole space perfect. Two 1000W lights ought to do fine in your larger space if the temps don't get any higher than the 85 you were saying. 75 is my target temp for growing. Plan to go through more water at 85 but if fed right they do grow faster at higher temps. A CO2 system would really rock them as you need higher temps to get the most out of added CO2.
Did you put all those plants in 7 gallon pots? I'd be letting them veg a lot longer before flowering myself. Can always top them again or do some LST to keep the height down.

Hi oldmeduser i put 18 of them in 7gallon pots ,2 in 5 gallon pots and 2 in a 9 1/2 gallon pot. also i have two girls that have pre flowered one in 7gallon and one in half gallon lol. I want to veg until i have 10 girls preflowering then i will try to scrog and top again. i think i will try co2 next time. One more thing i want to order some good seeds and am thinking about truenorth seedbank i want grandaddy purple and bluedream the most. what do you think about these strains and this seed store?

So about 30 days since the seeds sprouted heres some photos from today . I don't know if I should let them veg for another week or t flowering them in a week or two? I don't know what to do lol. what do you guys think? also I don't want to waste plant food and on male

I tend to veg too long most of the time so I think you could start flowering any time you want. When a plant is mature enough to flower well the nodes start to separate so they are not directly across from each other or become staggered. That's around 6 weeks for most seed grown plants. Clones are the same age as the mother plant so should already be staggered.
I did some checking on the True North Seed Bank and it seems they had some problems a few years ago but mostly good reviews since so you should be safe ordering from them. There is a page here about them and all the comments are very positive. TNSB thread.
The Granddaddy Purple looks good as does the Blue Dream. Not sure if you're getting the regular or fem versions of the GDP but the fems are sold out and come in 5 packs where the regular ones come in a 10 pack. I would get regulars so I could breed my own seeds from them. At the prices they are asking I want more bang for my buck.
The Blue Dream seem to only come in the feminized version, 6 pack, so I'd have to clone them then select the best to keep for a mother. It's more sativa so I'd opt for it over the GDP but that's just me.

Hi Oldmeduser my plants just started showing sex I killed one boy so far and have one girl so far. I think I will flip the lights to 12/12 on nopvember 3rd or 10th don't know yet. I want all reg seed now too I want to breed my own seeds soon so I think I will only buy reg seeds online. I will put some new pics up in a few days.
