if your conditions are right the gelato will get monstrous, massive , hard buds. air movement and circulation is key, i lost about half to bud rot. still some of the best bud i've grown. just stay vigilant.

Was PM ever an issue with this strain?

i've had pm before but bud rot is what took a pile out my grow this summer. it's sativa dom, they're usually a touch more resistant, but harder to catch if they get it, as the skinny leaves sorta hide it.
