I am a journeyman grower, have been growing in Rock wool, flood & drain in trays for 20+ years with very few issues. I switched to coco cuz I wanted to grow less plants & large plants. Plus every body says how easy & great it is. Anyway I started with healthy sour diesel clones in 7 gal pots, had nothing but trouble. I know now that your suppose to start in small pots & work your way up. I learned that the hard way. I think I was drowning them, cuz I finally stopped watering them & let the coco dry a bit and they started to come back to life and started to do good until I watered again. Now they look bad again. There about 4 weeks old now and I only watered them 3 times. I basically follow the Gh chart for my nutes, but not as strong. Before I add my nutes I put 3ml of calimagic, Then my 3 part Gh, then add 1ml floralicious plus, 1ml superthrive, & I use Gh ArmorSi Silica at half strength recommended. Everything is at 1 gallon. My ph going in is 5.9 and ppm is about 700. After I put the calimagic in the tap water the ppm reads about 300 to 350, so I'm only adding about 350 ppm of nutes. Now the plants are starting to taco a bit, turning yellow, wilting, tips are curling down, and I'm starting to see a little bit of rust I think on the new clones I just put in a week ago. But that's a whole nether story. Can any body shed some light on my situation. Anything would appreciated. I apologize if I didn't post this correctly, as I am new to this site.
