Hello all, Has anybody tried this product? It is coast of Maine lobster compost, I was out traveling and stopped at a newly opened grow shop and they gave me a bag for free to try out. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

is that made of the castings from farmed penned lobster ?

curious as i hear they are trying to do the same with some of the farmed salmon pens in canada. there is some controversy around the practice. the ocean based pens create a fair bit of waste, which contaminates the surrounding area. dredging them to remove the waste is possible, and even necessary, but disturbs the waste and spreads it further.

land based aqua farms remove and compost the waste here all the time.

No....they use the byproduct of processed (picked) fresh caught lobster.
