Heatsink size?

So, just a general question. I am looking to do my first big cob build. Going to be pushing some 3000k Vero 18's at 700-750ma.

I was going to do a big 2ft x 3ft fixture skirting around my 4000k QBs and mount them directly on some aluminum channel sans proper heatsink. I have not and will not do that because I just paid way too much for these chips, but I do have a budget to consider.

So what is the best value for my needs? I have 10 chips being delivered Thursday. Would really appreciate being pointed in the right direction at the very least.

Also buying an older Vero 29 in 5000k to power my upcoming veg area. I have a sink and fan for that already though. I've had an itch to build lights since I finished my first deep/far Red 1100k cob fixture a couple months back.

I ordered my pin style heatsinks through Alibaba. That may be the most cost effective source for pin style heatsinks. Watch out for shipping costs. I went oversized to keep the heat down.

I ordered CPU coolers (Arctic Alpine 64 GT) through Amazon that I didn't use as they added to the complexity.

Yeah, I need it to be cheap and simple. Alibaba has crazy shipping prices, $62 to ship two of those little 65w QB kits, that don't even require heatsinks. I decided I could build this Vero 18 fixture for the same total price ($151 wasn't bad I know) and get a better spread + build experience.

Now that I have all of the electrical stuff and frame design squared away, I'm just left with the heat. Too bad I don't have a forge to cast my own sinks out of scrap, lol. I will peruse Alibaba for a bit and smoke some more hash, cursed with insomnia.

You dont need very big sinks at that small of a chip at that low wattage. All you have to do is look at the specs of the Chip and see how many watts of heat dissipation it requires and then by the appropriate heat sink. I don't feel like calculating anything but I can tell you it'll be a pretty small heat sink required.
