New to the group, but have already found a wealth of information here.
I started my first “real” attempt March 12.
I have a 4x8 with 6 lady clones. 2 TwistaXAfgan, 2 OGGrapeXStar47, and 2 JackHererXBOG.
For now I have 1 but most likely will need 2
Yehsence 1500w LED Grow Light with Bloom and Veg Switch, (15W LED) Triple-Chips LED Lamp Full Spectrum.
I’m using a Black Magic + Local CO organic steer mix soil medium, with Black Magic fert in concert with URB nutes.
So far so everything looks great. I just finished up my adaptation phase and have since went from 12/12@44” to 18/6@ 36” above canopy. Recommendation for the light. I’ve also read that running both switches (full spectrum) now is okay, so I’m testing that theory today.
I’ve stabilized my PH between 6-7 (using color charts) and tested runoff and still maintained yellow/slight green tint.
I’m still learning how to water properly, but thanks to an article that pointed me to forum, I think I know best practices now.
I’m still working on humidity, hard to do in CO, but was at 40%@72-78 degrees this morning, which has been a fairly consistent number. I’m using a local Spring water from Eldorado Springs that tests just under 7 without treatment.
Right now they have all been transplanted into 1 gallon, to be fitted with 3 gallon smart pots when I’m comfortable with the root ball. I regret not using clear dixi cups, just because I’m curious and very impatient. Lol. I know those are bad attributes for growing, but what can I say.
A couple have gotten a little hot from the heater early on, but other than that I think they’re looking good so far.
