This is my proud venom OG. It started 8 week flower on Friday the 21st. I've never grown under LED. When I look at it sometimes I think it's ready but I don't know I always been told to go by the hairs. And it looks complete on the picture of this bud. But now I hear about going about trichomes. What do you think about my trichomes and the butt pic? I want the good high to where your eyes feel heavy but you motivated and want to do shit. I would really love to get it at its maximum potency.

Like I said almost half week through 8th week of flower. I've already flushed twice should I go ahead and initiate the 48 hours of darkness and harvest?

He, he he..... Please no butt pics unless she’s cute & fit! Looks frosty and getting close but still a tad early, maybe a week to 10 days. She has fresh fluffy pistils so yeah she’s still bulking up flowers for you. Sage advice is wait until you think they are done, then add a week.

I have no advice since I’m on my 1st grow with a Purple Haze starting her 9th week and looks pitiful compare to your beauty! Another member, @Bill284 mentioned the white pistols - said I need to wait.

Appreciate all y'all's helping knowledge LEDs are funny to grow under. And I was growing under high pressure sodium I would have no problem being able to tell.. here's a new one that I started I think it's either lemon OG or presidential

When I first growed the two venom OG's they would be looking a lot better if I wasn't stupid I thought the Happy frog soil that I bought would last through the whole growth and then I feed them any nutrients during the first part of their budding stage and I thought it was nutrient lock when they were starving. But for the last month they got their nutrients and I have already started their flush. This here is some earlier pic

You can see the shorter plan in there I have taken four clones off both of them while they were 3 weeks in the budding stage and they already taken root and showing signs of new growth. Shorter 9ne I clicked a couple of branches off

Nice growing Mark. I use a small cheap 80x scope to look at trichome color. They seem to be a true tell for ripeness. Otherwise I wait for tops to be all pistol retracted and buds 8 or 12 inches lower very close. Problem with that is some won't ever stop making new pistols.

I'm sure it's so cheap and around 5 years old that there's no name on it. I'll check in a min.
Ok, it looks like a Hydrofarm AEM40 Microscope style. But the Hydrofarm is 40x. I think any $20.00 ish scope looking similar with a bigger high range would be good or better than my old thing. @Websissy

Lots of red in them stems.
Next time put 250 ml of epsom salts in a 50 gal feed tank for each feeding.

OR, 200 ppm cal mag. Mix FIRST in your feed bucket.

Got some serious mag deficiency going on there. Fixing that (easy and cheap) will increase your yield significantly.

Even better.
Throw a teaspoon of Epsom Salts in and shake well, THEN add your nutrients.
But, seriously ... you GOTTA do something about those red stems.
They costing you.
