Hi fellow 420 mag growmies: My intro

hey bro nice garden, KISS ap[proach is the berst i find, got a few friends from nelson ways, most of you guys seem to know how to grow nice buds :D welcome, I also do Drain to waste usually I always maintain at 6.0 figure a plant can compensate best when it knows what ph the water is everytime, also Bill knows what he's talking about, coco isn't soil ), it comes from above the ground, doesn't contain soil pathogens. nor are worm castings - they're an amendment : 5.8 is fine.

Welcome to the party Maverick!

Happy growing! :Rasta:

Hi everyone,
Indoor farmer in beautiful British Columbia. Few in and out gardens under my belt, still learning lots, first set-up indoor in a long time. Currently rockin' 4x AK-47s "fast flower" strain in a 4x4 and 3x3 tent powered by a new Mars Hydro FC-E 4800 and Mars Hydro TSW 2000 respectively.
My ladies sit comfortably in a mix of about 50% coco, 15% worm castings, 15% fish soil, 20% perlite and are on the Green Planet Medi-One program for nutrients for the most part + some add ons
Currently second week of flower, will keep ya'll posted! ....Pictures are older ones

They look great! Can’t wait to see what she produces.

Hi everybody,
Here's an update! Girls are poppin' now! 61 days from seed, 3rd week of flower, AK 47 fast flower strain from Farmers Lab. Everything, well almost everything looks really good :)....but.... I seem two have some minor deficiencies on a couple of them. If anyone has a hint as to what might be going on here drop me a line, upper leaf stems turning red and some bottom leaves looking tired.
I upped the p-k feed lately by quite a bit and at the same time i dropped my Nitrogen intake and also Bill suggested i drop PH a bit since im in coco. Was around 6.4 before. Would that be related? Or is it possible the plant is quickly consuming its reserve in the sugar leaves ?..... Coco, 1000 ppm, ph 6.0-6.1, rh 55-60.. Temp 27-28c under led lights...MH the 2000 and FC-e4800
Anything helps!
Thanks

Looking great Maveric. The leaves you're showing look a bit like the beginning of a potassium deficiency. Here's the 420 problem solver, do you see similar pics like yours?

Your still not feeding properly my friend. :Namaste:
If you don't hit 5.8 she can't uptake properly, she is starving absolutely beautiful but hungry nonetheless.
5.8 ph feed every day in coco.
She will be an awesome producer for you.
Bill

Thanks Bill
Im working my way there, to be on the cautious side I'm dropping by a point or so everyday. Started at 6.4 now at 6.0-6.1. Thing is she seems to be getting worst as im getting lower. What's seems to be the deficiency here in your opinion? Another thing I noticed on the one much larger plant is run-off ph is getting higher? What's up with that? Im watering 4 times a days with decent run off yet the ph is always higher
Upped the N intake yesterday, i feel I've cut it back too much too soon, we'll see when they wake up!
Cheers, thanks for all the advice

Look at this chart.
If you are above 5.8 she can’t uptake properly.
I’d drop to 5.6 for a bit.
Your run off is going to keep increasing because she isn’t eating what your pouring in.
Bill

Your plants look good, Maverick.

Even if they're not quite dialed in yet, I'd think you have to be very close to where you need to be. :Rasta:

Thanks, I feel im about a couple days late than where i should be ideally but im cool with it. Taking lots of notes and learning lots, it's very addictive to me:)
I had to defoliate at the start of flowering and I believe that alone set them back a couple of days, they'll need another trim at some point i think.
They got a good drink of lower ph feed this morning again, pretty much in the 5.8 range now, wait and see waht happens!!
Cheers

Hi y'all
Day 57.. Mid-end 3rd week flower. Made a mistake in a previous post, messed up my count by a week, those were seeds on March 24, transplanted on March 31 in 5 gal. Coco.
The tent is rockin' now boy! The girls are happy happy Thanks Bill for the cue, lowering the ph made a huge difference, hovering around 5.8-6.0, cranked up my PK and upped Cal-mag a bit + a dose of epsom salt just to make sure..
Leaves are all shooting up, nugs everywhere in those. Good times
Cheers all
