Been trying to find a grow space in the house. my wife suggested the laundry room which would be a great place but was originally part of the now closed in carport. It is not temp controlled. My box will be about 46" x 30" x 6'tall. will be insulated. Can I duct my intake air from another room through the attic?

Why not? Seriously, it's just air. Or is there something more complicated? Most people worry more about what do do with the hot, smelly exhaust...
Yes you can do that. To be fair as long as its not a sealed room and have a strong enough exhaust fan, air will find its way into the room. However its better to have intake ducts to ensure lots of co2 and less strain on exhaust fan. A 4inch intake from another room be fine.

Absolutely. I vent from an adjoining room through a black ops filter and exhaust outdoors through another black ops filter. No smell and plenty of fresh air.
