Is my bowl made of plastic?

'Sup ,just got a 17$ mini hookah(since I can't find any other smoking devices here >.>) and it's this one

The bowl it seems to be made out of wood,but it's black in the inside(not like the pic),and smoking from it is very harsh!(either that or the shitty unflushed,uncured weed I got).But as I scrapped the bowl with my finger(I was blazed lol),some black resin like stuck to my finger,and it was hard to wash
Is that coated plastic or something

Resin from burnt weed is usually black and very sticky, so thats probably what you got on your fingers.... Does it smell like burning plastic?

Did you put some water in the bottom of the bubbler?

I removed the black thingie,torched it with my lighter and after 20secs or something it started releasing black fumes and smelled like plastic.
So I got rid of that,and now I'm left with a wooden bowl
And yes,it works way better with water,smoother hits
