Keeping the cotyledons all the way until harvest?

I am curious if anyone else has tried to keep your cotyledon leaves healthy all the way to harvest. I've tried and failed many times. Am I the only one? Is it possible? If you have achieved this and have photos I'd love to see them and praise you. :Namaste:

Evolutionarily, cotyledons just aren’t made to last that long. They are also called “seed leaves”, their primary function is to supply the germinating seedling with nutrients until the first true leaves sprout and the chlorophyll begins to develop. It’s a little more complicated than that, but that’s the gist of it. Back to your question, I have also been able to keep the cotyledon for quite some time, but senescence will win out. I’m quite happy if the 1st true leaves are still functioning after 6-8 weeks!
