LED and higher temps

As the end of my first grow as well as winter coming to an end, I am thinking of holding off on my 2nd grow until September or October, for fear that it would be too hot inside the tent, I'm guessing mid to high 80's, maybe even 90, and lights off temps being low 80's.

I've read that temps should be higher when using LED, and was wondering if anyone using LED's can confirm this? I'd rather not wait until later this year to start a grow, but I also don't want the headaches I've had on my first grow, that being too many problems for a noob to deal with at one time..

Led grow lights are being marketed these days as having lower operating temps than comparable hid lighting. I use led and I think they're probably the coolest lights possible..

The truth though no matter what lights you have, you need ventilation. I have a small space but it would heat up pretty quick without my fan running 24/7.
