I live in zone 6. I'm newer to the forums been around a few months. I've been getting very interested in being able to self sustain. I figure I have to start somewhere so why not here? I'm looking for advice on what to grow. I've never grown anything other than cannabis. I've read a lot about Hooglkultur?spelling and other gardening techniques. However I think due to where I am located and my available space I think pots may be the best option. I'm looking for advice on what kind of pots for what plants, is ffof okay to use as that is what I'm accustomed to, what plants are easiest to grow in pots and for beginners? Obviously I would like smell tomato plants. Should I start these plants from seed? I tried starting tomato seeds before but had little luck. We have quite a few squirrels but are in village limits. I'm worried they may be a Hassel. Thanks for any help in advance. This is truly going to be the start of my dream. Perhaps I'll make it into a journal or smething.
