Are you with mars hydro. Seeding they say are based on light intensity. .but I think they suggest 24-30 from seed. Hope that is accurate for you.

Then from seed ask manufacturer fir does and recommendations for distance but yes 24-30 should be fine I'm running 600 :watt led that is what I do.
