Looking good there. As to your lighting concerns, you seem to have the Mars centered over 1 side or the other...I would move it to the middle and hang the CFLs on either side...or get a 2nd mars. Those 1st gen units can be found for <$60. Play around with different configs and see what makes the pants happy. This is an addicting hobby

hey 420 those girls are lookin lovely. lol

my first thought with near zero expense to alter your lighting would be:

first, square up the mars light to the room, over the raspberry cough.

then give it a slight angle of say 10 degrees or so, maybe 15, on the side facing the candy kush. / <---not that much but you get the idea.

i'm sure your raspberry will still get plenty of light energy to her, while sharing some to the kush.

Hey, everyone!

I'm on week 5 for flowering and I'm super excited for Candy Kush Express. She only has three weeks until she's matured and ready to get hanged (I know. It does sound kinda barbaric).

Raspberry Cough is start to form and she's taking my breath away every week when I see her. And the smell off of her is so wonderful. So I hope you guys enjoy the pics. Leave any comments if you please.

no worries, it will take what it takes to finish. I know my current girls are at minimum 4 weeks longer than stated by seedbank. kinda sux. but hey, as long as you keep them going until they tell you they're ready you'll be good.

Hey, guys.

I'm back to post up another update of how CKE and RC is doing since the last time I posted them up on week 5.

Now we're on week 6, I'm disappointed on how the way CKE has been looking. When I was about to get her from Royal Queen Seeds, they said she would take around 7 weeks and so far it's not looking that way. I really expected that she would be dense by now but she still looks sparse. If anyone could fill me in on the reasons why she's looking like that, I would appreciate it. It's just funny to me because she has the most wattage of light (2 42 watts and 1 40 watts) than the RC chilling under the LED.

On the other hand, RC is growing so beautifully each week. I noticed how dense her buds are looking compared to CKE though RC looks so much better in person than it does on the photos.

And about my light situation, I had made no iniation on moving them because of how tall CKE is (4ft) and the way the LED lights hang would snap her. I just couldn't. So Im just gonna keep them there until I find another alternative. .. Here are the photos and I hope you guys enjoy what you see...

Here I am showing off my week 7 in flowering baby girls and they're still doin their own thing. I hope they will be in their true form by the end of the month or so. I really want to see how much im gonna get from them.

I decided to switch the (CKE) tall ones to the back which was done successfully a few days ago. The only issue was that the plants were not standing still and when my boyfriend tried to help me out by keeping them stable this happened... I sure was pissed but I didn't let that stop me from saving it. I really want this one to prosper like the rest.

I hope the others including this one will be out soon. I'm so ready to try her out...

RC looks like she's gonna be a bit hefty. Just by feeling the density of her colas is making me hope I get a good load out of her... If you guys have a good guess of how many ounces she'll end up havin, I would like to know. For the meantime, here she is...

Last but not least, I decided to get the Dechlorinator from Microbe Hydroponics since I'm getting sick of ordering 5 gallon of R.O. water. I would like to know one of your opinions about this. So far from what my hydro store told me, they said this stuff is awesome. I'm planning on using it on my next water change.

So what's up everyone!

I'm goin on week 8 with these girls when it hits Saturday and I had never been more anxious to see when the CKE will be done. I was hoping for someone to stop by to see what anyone thought of my progress. I think CKE should be able to be harvested in few weeks give or take. I think this is the size she was meant to be in.

Earlier I was looking into my grow room. I seen how budd weren't getting an bigger than I thought they would. If this is how the way they'll end up turning out then at least I'm learning what not to do on my next grow. That means looking for a better seed bank. If there has been anyone else that has exprienced a bad grow with Royal Queen sees, please fill me in. After dealing with what happened with Special Queen#1 being male and not having a generous yield with Candy Kush Express, I think I will be looking elsewhere...

And the last thing I forgot to mention was the Dechlorinator from Microbe Life Hydroponics, I won't be using that. I'm just gonna deal with the good ol poland spring water I get in 5 gallon jugs to do the job for now until I find a helpful alternative. I should be changing the water today but the next delivery is tomorrow so until tomorrow.

So, it's week 11 and this wasn't such a great one. 75% ended up getting bud rot and I wish I could've controlled the Temps much better from this experience. I did harvest CKE last week after catching mold on one of the colas. She was seriously one of the worst grows and I really doubt she has any great quality. As for RD her colas were looking amazing but she had bud rot to the yin yang!!! It broke my heart that I had to chop them off but it had to be done. So I conclude this grow journal as this being a learning experience and giving good hopes for prosperity to my future grow which will be in a while since I'm having thoughts of moving out.
