Need advice on new flood and drain system

So i'm currently in the process of upgrading to a flood and drain system. I am stumped now on whether to ebb/flow my liquids by using feeding tubes to each plant, or to use the taller flood/drain extension that just keeps the tray at a pretty full level with a bottom overflow (which just doesnt drain every bit of the water). pics included of what i've got setup now and what i have planned out so far. so far my plan is to keep them in the cloner for 2-3 weeks, move them into the early veg platinum 60, then a few weeks later into the late veg 60 series, then move them upstairs and plant them in 5g+ smart pots in hydroton or vermiculite. i'll also have a 2 layered scrog up top, and hopfully i'll figure out a way for the left and right sides can be separate. advice more than welcomed and appreciated

edit: also plan on using these an aerocloner to start them off in. two of the platinum 60 series so i can have them in different nute stages and keep them perpetual
