New Guy.... Does it really help to start flowering 36hr's dark?Or ?

my first time and not sure how old my plants are , but think there ready to start flowering? I am indoors and soil medium.150 watt( more like 100watt) L.E.D UFO for light.
I have been happy with the shake so far ( clean , mild bzz ). They are fed mostly water with some organic fertilizers. The strain is WHT widow.

This site has help me to were I am, but need more than sitting on the bench. I have always enjoy a good smoke ( since 1984) and do prefer black ( hash in montreal).

Now i want to grow the best i can . For my close friends and moi !

Hey Buddy! to

have you considered starting a grow journal? That way you will get all the help you need and answers to all your questions

As for the 36 hours dark before flipping to 12/12. I personally don't bother. Although, there are plenty of growers who use the technique. It is designed to give the plants a sure fire signal that the light schedule is changing and it's time to flower
