Help a fella

Hi guys, I’ve started my own first grow and I wanted to share things I don’t understand that much tbh.
So, I have these 3 plants [2 photo (20 days), 1 auto]
The auto one has 12 days and I believe it started flowering this night (is it possible?)
The other two are going well I believe (20 days)

I was just wandering if it’s possible to go auto-bloom in 12 days (or maybe I did something wrong)

light: 180w Led (7,8 inches) (the dude at the store told me to leave it always 7,8 from the plant) is it correct?
RH: 50/60%
RT: 68-77 F
Soil: Vaneco light mix
Fertilizer: bio-grow (by biobizz)

Nope, an auto can begin flowering at that point, it's not unusual enough to be concerned. Begin transition to bloom if your using bloom nutes as well (sorry- I'm a hydro grower, not sure on soil grows)

Also, when planting an auto, most recommend planting in its final container.

Can't help with the light unfortunately!

is indeed hard to see, the blurple,, it hurts

but i see no signs of any flowering

Hey Help a fella,

Welcome to forums at 420. Its really hard to see in blurple - please post daylight pics in the future! The auto may just be showing that she’s a female and not in flower yet.... but as Rexer said yes it could be starting to flower already. Also what’s your lighting schedule?

more folks will stop in soon
I can take them out for a photo?. It doesn’t hurt them? Switching from artificial to non?
Light schedule is 19-5

7 - 8 inches is incredibly close. i would surmise the light is kinda weak if it needs to be run that close. burple is ancient dead tech as far as led goes. most proper led run 24 - 30 inches away in veg and and 18 - 24 inches away in flower.

edit : watch for issues at flip if you are in biobiz.. lots of new growers have piles of trouble with it.

Cool yes Roger that - no harm in taking them out for pics anytime you are in lights on period...
Here we are, 2 pics x plant (22 nov. Germ)
Little one auto-amnesia (30 nov. Germ.)
Other 2 royal ak47

is it normal that the regular ones are so bushy? I did my first lst ever on the tallest one and it was so difficult with all that vegetation. I didn’t notice the difference before and after lst tbh. Lower branches are still covered by these gigantic leaves.

So I should water them less? I water 4/7
1l for all three (ofc the little one less water than the other two).

these pics are from the plant you asked

Hey Fella, it’s been a couple of weeks - how is the garden coming along?
Actually I was about to ask for help

I’m so worried man. Here are some pics (someone told me it can be cal mag def, so I will buy it Monday. But before that I wanted a true expert opinion like you

here’s the first one (royal ak regular 34 days veg)

Second one (This one has the same age but she was stuck in to the seed at germination. She is a little behind from the start.)

I’m so worried this can kill them in the long term so I actually don’t know.
I know for shure it’s not overwatering because last week I waited 5days without watering (someone told me here to do it thinking it might be overwatering) after that the symptoms didn’t stop.
What do you think about this situation, should I try cal-mag / remove completely yellow and dead leaves.

thank you and happy holidays .

I would remove some of the leaves to get a better air flow , those leaves look lifeless , the taller one is getting air UNDER leaves so looks better
remove the BIG damaged leaves that have burnt from laying on the soil , this should help get more air around the plant ,
what size are the pots also ?

Hey Fella, First I’m not an expert - seriously I’m a newbie that’s only been growing for a year now, but there are some real pros on here that keep us all on track tho. That doesn’t look very bad at all but will need attention for sure. No I wouldn’t chop those leaves off heres why - it looks like she is stealing nutes from lower leaves to supply the upper leaves, if you cut the lower leaves off then the problem will climb up as she will steal nutes from the next pair up the trunk.

Nutrient deficiencies are hard to identify at times plus I’m not familiar with a lot of the nutes on the market and the Bio-bizz line is something we don’t have here in the US. Most weed nutes are NPK but don’t have calcium & magnesium so we all get the add on cal-mag product. This crop has high nutrient demands for the NPK and calcium plus magnesium. This could be exactly what your deficiency is stemming from. It’s the middle of the night here and I’m sleep deprived & in pain so I’m not very clear headed at the moment

I often tell folks don’t jump on the first piece of advice you hear on the faq boards but wait for others to chime in and generally a few people will independently verify the same issues. I do suspect cal-mag deficiency but there could be more going on. But regardless of the issue please know this - nothing will fix your bottom leaves, they are permanently damaged and will not recover, but the cal-mag should stop it from spreading up the trunk. Lets get more eyes on the problem tomorrow and since its Christmas wait for replies to come in on Sat too if necessary. I’m going to ask @NuttyProfessor to swing by.

Hang out here and add a comment to bump your post up to the top tomorrow to get more viewers. We will get you sorted. Thanks a ton - Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you!!!

Nutty is quick on the draw and see right there I told you my opinion but he is a much more experienced gardener than I will ever be. Do you think its a cal-mag related deficiency Nutty?

Still learning my self daily lol.. i think most of those leaves are just damaged from touching the soil and burning , it has an off colour but could have been the over watering from the last time
