Newbie: Money isn't a problem - Noise is

Hey, trying to set up premier conditions with the following:

Up until a couple hours ago I had no flower tent and had an 8" fan (carbon filter + silencer) in there, but am going to return them because it sounds like a jet engine in there, even with the silencer.

I know more air flow is required, but I don't know the best way to go about doing that or what equipment to pick up that isn't noisy!

I'm thinking of going back to using the tent to eliminate the need for so many CFMS.

Suggestions?

Hey Gluten instead of using the 8" fan you could get two 4" fans...half the noise.

Also you can adjust the speed of fans with a controller that may be your answer my friend. Some fans are quiter then others. I prefer the original can fan

The speed controller is about $15... I have one on my 8" and it works well...

I have them and they work great, but using them reduces the CFMs.

Also get insulate ducting. You can find some cool intake fans with build in speed control, heat control but I can't tell you witch would be best. Mine actualy makes more noise on low speed then on full power cause of the buzzing/vibration, so now I gotta build a box.... If money isn't an issue, in your shues, I'd get top notch shit

I have a Vortex S-Line Ultra Quiet Fan 8 inch 728 CFM with a speed control and it works great. Very quiet! Google it and check it out on You Tube...

Yeah those vortex s line fans are super super quiet compared to most I've encountered and I hit up every expo I can on lights and fans or anything indoor growing related
