depends on what your grow style is really.
I grow mostly coco and pure hydro and I swear by advanced nutes 3 part ph perfect as a base nute. You can go crazy with additives but id suggest great white mycorrhizae, roots excelurator by house and garden and sensizym for veg.
Buddhas tree pk/advanced metaboost and solar green power are fantastic products. also you cant go wrong with plagron green sensation.

I would recommend using the General Hydroponics Flora Trio if you are using a hydroponic system or coco coir, but if you are wanting to grow in soil then I would recommend the Fox Farms Nutrient Trio.

Never had a problem.
But for me, nutrients are less important than the environment: Light, airflow, temperature, O2... As long as those are dialed in, nutrients are just an addition. An important one, no doubt, but not at the top of my list of priorities.
