I am growing in Hydrophonic
System, Temperature 29 max 32 C, humidity 55 , water Temperature 24 C , PPM 300, PH 5,8, Light 60 CM from seedling, 20/4 light Schedule, 9 days old Autoflower Pineapple Express.
can anyone help ? I have no clue what could be the cause of this? should I just start a new one ?

Looking too wet. Pull that plug up, let the tap root go hunting. I like my humidity in the 70's while little roots are developing. Nutrient temps should be around 62/65.

Hey BigDoubleOG,

Welcome to 420! Yes something looks wrong here, how high up is your water level? Another thing that concerns me is it looks like algae is growing on the hydroton already. Also your temps are way too high for indoors and I suspect you are frying them at 60cm spacing - what is the true wattage draw of your light?

I don’t think this one will survive but until we figure out what’s up then you are likely to repeat same mistake. I’m soil grower but think water may be too high. For the first week or two you need to top feed to tease roots to grow down into reservoir.

What kind of nutes are you using? Do you have cal-mag? What kind of ratio hopefully it’s nowhere near using full strength dosage?

Anywho please add your answers @Rexer can hopefully jump in and get you tuned up

Yup- too wet would be my first guess. I'd also give her plain water only at this point, maybe with a bit of cal mag in it (if ro).

The water level in dwc should be well below the net cup, with the airstone causing a slight splash hitting the bottom of the net cup, this will tease the roots to come down further for a drink.

Hope that helps!

I'd give @Tokin Roll journal a good read....excellent write ups in it for dwc.

Sorry to say, that is nutrient burn....
No nutrients for the beginning of seedling stage. All the nutrients they need are in the little round leaves.
Wait untill the first true leaves are well established and the second set is emerging before you should give any nutrients.

Apparently I need more :nomo:

Thank you  :green_heart:

I'd also give Furcifer's journals a good read, full of great advice!

Edit- is that a peice of shell stuck on still?
