Ok so quick question.

Can you increase the amount of soil for each plant by going wider rather than deeper. I have more space than height.

I have purchased a 76ltr air smart bag and thinking because it's so wider i can just cut the height down but I will have more soil because it's a bigger diameter.

So does your growing area have to be deep or can it be wide and shallower?

Yes, you sure can. Once the taproot shoots down and finds the bottom the roots will explode outwards. Many growers grow in shallow but wide setups.
