Problems re-occurring

Plants are in pro mix not soil.
Sorry to jump in here folks but noticed the Pro mix stuff you're using. This is a bit different but same brand. Thoughts?

Organic pro mix so he would have the option to treat it as a living soil and feed the microbes which in turn break down the nutrients to feed the plants. Problem is the little buggers don’t take too kindly to ph levels below 6.5. It won’t work if using typical hydroponic nutrients.

5.8 ~ 6.0 pH water wash your soil. and waiting

Wait.. "wash your soil"?? that's like science I've never herd of before.

Please don't do that to your soil or your plants.

Flushed em

OK too late. Why this "flushing" you mention?

Soil PH cannot be tested from water run off. It's a far more elaborate test.

Wait... I’m in soil-less what’s that shit in the pot ?

ProMix is mostly Canadian Sphagnum Peat moss. It's made, sold and marketed for professional landscapers for use as flower bed MULCH not meant to actually grow plants in.

You need to add to your ProMix (better to just buy CSPM at your local hardware store) that is 100% CSPM then add humus + EWC + aeration.

IF you wanna grow in soil.

Going to need added amendments as you get going.

Your plant looks like she needs more light. She's kinda spindly. Get a bag of compost and add it in equal to the amount of promix/CSPM. That should get you going.

CSPM/ProMix is going to be acidic and you verified that with your PH test. Still the PH test is meaningless.

If you wanna grow in Peat based soil mix with nutrients, KJ is your man.

I do soil only no chemicals. Water FTW.
