Racer's First Grow with CFLs - Bag Seed

Anyone know a thing of two about liquid kool bloom? Is it effective? Is it just a marketing gimmick? I have a bottle of the liquid and the dry at home and was wondering if I should start to use it. If, the answer is yes, when should I start using it? I understand that the powder is for the last two to three weeks and the liquid is for the middle of flowering, correct?
 
Hey thanks for that link, will come in handy. I might slowly start adding in kool bloom to my nutes next time I change the reservoir.
 
Update: Flower 18! She is still doing fine! Growing on a daily basis and nice growth of pistils! Water PPM is at 900 today and will probably just top off with RO water till Sunday (when I change my reservoir).

Flower 25: Update time!!! Yesterday I finally changed the reservoir and re-filled it with a full dose of flora nutes, 1/2 strength liquid bloom, some beneficial bacteria and a 1/4 dose of cal/mag. She is strong and happy, slowly defoliating her at the moment. Still pretty new at this so I am being careful with everything that I do lol. Here are some pictures from yesterday with the lights out!

Racer, to straighten your seedlings, insert toothpicks away from the bend and stretch a small piece of nylon pantyhose between them to support the seedling. I did this for two of mine and they were straight to the lights within three days. I've used the nylon strips in my vegetable garden for years to tie up plants and they don't harm the plants. You don't have to tie the strip just use it to push on the stem a little bit. I have two plants under 2x60 watt (equiv) 6500K CFL's and they're doing great. My other babies are under a bank of T5 24 watt fluor tubes and loving it. Best of luck!
 
Update: Flower 33! She is starting to smell up the tent, even with the carbon scrubber. Things have been going really well! pH has been rock stable at 5.6-5.8. PPM is around 1200 at the moment and I have upped the dosage of liquid koolbloom to full strength. Here are some pictures to show her off! Anybody care to guess how much I could be 'roughly' expecting once dry?

Update Time: Yesterday was day 45! So far so good, no real problems that I have encountered. The plant is currently drinking between 3/4 to 1 gallon per day and the humidity has been right at 45%. Temperatures range from 68F during lights off to 81F during lights on. Really happy with the results that I am getting. Yesterday I switched from liquid koolbloom to the koolbloom powder. She is starting to fill out, growing has slowed but she is definitely gaining some weight. Here are some pictures.

Appreciate the kind words! They definitely are frosty and sticky as can be. I can't even touch them, unless I want to smell like a grow house. Hopefully this will plant will give me a nice yield, I have no idea how much I should be expecting lol
 
Update: Flower 58. Sorry for the long delay, it has been a couple of stressful weeks at work. The plant is looking good, nothing to complain about. The pH has been strong at 5.8 without fluctuation, the ppm is right around 1300-1400 and temperatures have been between 68 and 79F. Humidity is around 45% but I am trying to desperately get it down a little for the ending phase. Here are a couple of pictures for you guys to take a look at.

I am trying not to rune, sometimes it's just inevitable.
Either way, I have a few pictures for you guys. They are nothing special but I took them 2 days ago during veg 62 I believe. Let me know what you guys think. Anyone care to guess how much longer for this strain? Trichomes are still clear/some cloudy.

Looking good man... and after seeing that scale photo again, I'd be surprised if you don't end up with at least 4oz... depending on how solid they are, maybe double that? I suck at guessing, but comparing buds to bags, that I can do. I'm sitting here with 1/2 oz dried and it looks like that cola holds at least 2 - 4 times that, so you'll have a nice harvest.

I don't know how much time's left, but considering how they look, I'd be checking daily. They could change fairly quick. Hmmm, I can remember when the normal was "when the hairs mostly or all change color, that means it's time to harvest", lol.... now we know to check the trics... amazing what a few years teaches us ;) I'll guess between 4 and 10 days left. I'd say right now, buzzy cerebral smoke, in a few days, a well rounded, another week, couchlock :) :Namaste:
