Same strain: two different buds

I'm just curious to what may have caused two plants from the same strain to appear much different in shade and look. Any ideas?

Both looked different from day one but more pronounced during the cure.

I did everything to kill these girls so not the best looking buds all around

Hello, probably just different phenotypes

That is totally normal many cultivars have a few different phenotypes they may express.

Just a different mix of the genetic variations from the parent plants

That is why we call it pheno hunting popping many seeds of the same cultivar to get the best looking or tasting or growing one.
