Hey yall so I started a new grow from seed as I ran into numerous issues growing from clones from the dispensaries here in Denver. I have some feminized Samoa Kush seeds by The Bank Genetics. Still growing in a small 2x2 closet. I started the seeds under the powerveg t5 bulbs while awaiting a Mars Hydro ts 1000w led. It's been a little over a week or so since the seed broke the surface and 4 days under the ts 1000. My only concern at this point is temperature. I'm using a thermometer that came with the light, not even sure if its accurate but I stay around 27 to 30c or 77 to 80f. I'm using a small vortex fan to try and suck cooler air from my apartment into the closet but am wondering if I buy a wall mount fan and put it above the light blowing down if that will help cool the room? Thoughts? I attached some photos of the room as well as the current state of the plant.

Hot air rises and all that, so putting a fan above the light and blowing down will put more heat where the plants are at I would think and make it worse if anything. I've never had 80 be to hot for mine, when it gets over 90 they don't really care for it much.

Yah I thought that as well. I'm still new to everything and from what I've read 80 isn't really ideal. I'm not complaining by any means the plant is growing extremely fast under the led just curious as to what others may say

Those temps are fine. You could flower in that range and still get lovely buds.. they could be a little more terp heavy, and denser structurally if you can get those temps down.. but by no means is it a deal breaker

*Grow Update*

So I found that the thermometer was giving me a false reading being directly in the light. Mounted it on the wall where it's slightly shaded and am getting consistent readings of 76-80 f.

I'm very impressed with the mars hydro ts 1000w! Plant is growing nicely with very tight internodal spacing.

Currently using coco coir, mico chum, and fox farm worm castings. Plant was topped yesterday and seems to be bouncing back just fine.

3 days after topping and coming along great! Exhale co2 bag is starting to give off some gas and the plant is loving it
