Soil for outdoor grow

Hi all
I'm a licensed medical user and newbe grower. I'm going to be planting clones in about a month in a fairly large.planter box 16"x 5'x 15"deep over a 4" big o self watering system. I have 2 of these planter boxes and need to fill them so I don't want to break the bank on soil can anyone suggest a type of soil that I could use?

Welcome from another newbie. Do you plan to go organic or not or some mix? One soil I have read good things on is fox farms. But there are a ton of soils out there and with some research you can make your own.

Yeah problem is I've never seen that brand in my area. I ended up buying some Pro mix from Home Depot and I'm going to mix it with some Miracle Grow soil what do you think?

Only problem is miracle grow soil is a time release soil so you can burn plants if you add nutes to it. And you don't know what is in that soil. But that said you already have it so try it and see how it goes.
