Barbara literally falling over herself on harvest day, day 44.. Definitely earlier than normal for a haze. Took 10 days for pistils to show up at all, so this one ripens and buds ultra fast hence those purple stems despite the triple doses of food and molasses.
Barbara Bush Northern Lights haze dominant
436g / 15.4 oz
A bigger plant, fast growing foliage and buds, though they are lighter.. A bit misleading since it grew like morning glory with huge preflowers parts. It's an early harvest.. I had to make room. they ARE stickier than Jackie, and the combs look as big as broken glass chunks!
Nobody dies. I have another Barbara in veg, so I'm gonna stealth plant this one somewhere quiet for an outdoor summer and see what she does. Probably another 1/4 to half on her but it's little and larfy. I feel better though, about cutting. It's essentially just a big pruning. It's all good.
How much is this going to weigh at 60% humidity? It's gunny I bought the big amber jar at wal Mart thinking 2l should be enough. 4 is probably not enough
Should've left them a bit longer mate. They had plenty weight still to pack on. Don't harvest till most of the white hairs turn brown. Most of your weight comes on in the last 2 weeks. 44 days isn't long enough by a long shot. Don't be so eager next time and your buds will be a lot better.
That's the thing, most of the hairs had turned, even a few amber heads. I figure it was about 5 days early but I have plants getting too big for the veg tent..
Idk man 30-40 gram buds seem pretty damn good to me, you didn't even look at the pictures they were ripe.. I don't go by a glance on the internet and a number I use my eyes. The strain says 45-55 days. The light I have kicked their asses and they were falling all over themselves purple in final nute kick. And this community is apparently lacking when better conversation comes from the plants.. I've tried to engage and ask questions or invite interaction to crickets and silence, so I wasn't feeling too enthused about bothering with all this documentation at all other than to link to it to show people I know and look back. I don't see the point of posting all this detail when the only thing people care about around here are yield numbers and armchair critiquing without looking at pictures because 10 ounce sized colas was good enough for me. I may post pics again for my own linking purposes later but the journal writing nonsense is complete, thanks for the feedback.
