Day 36

I've been pretty negligent in updating my journal. Here are the ladies...

They've all been topped 3 times now except asd who's only been topped twice. Did some light defoliation.

Still feeding them 1.25 ml/L GP3 grow, 1ml/L GP3 micro, 0.25 ml/L GP3 bloom, 1.25 ml/L procal, 5ml/L root builder, 1ml/L terpinator.

Thinking I should bump up the nutes soon. They seem to be growing pretty slow, but I just have them under 200 W of cfls right now. I'm cool with slow growth for now as the bubblelicious clones will be another 4 weeks to finish in flower tent.

Does anybody else use root builder? Should I use it for entire veg? Stop using in flower?

Day 40 above ground.

Group shot.

Repotted girls yesterday to 5 gallon fabric pots. Miscalculated amount of coco I needed so poor ASD got the short end of the stick. Only 2/3 full for now.

420-magazine-mobile94088176.jpg

Green Crack. Need her to stretch out a bit more before I try spreading these branches apart. Everything is too stiff... Feels like it's gonna snap. Smells incredible. Rubbing the stems it smells a bit minty to me. Very sweet.

420-magazine-mobile1506364356.jpg

Chocolate-mint-og. This girl is fat already! Stems smell a bit skunky and a bit like armpit haha. Love it.

420-magazine-mobile1560857260.jpg

Amherst-sour-diesel. She is slowly starting to come around. Doesn't smell much... A little sweet and a little skunky.

Black Dog. Very fat and spreading apart nicely. Not much smell off her yet.

Everything is gonna explode soon in these 5 gallons. Gonna be crowded in here by next week for sure.

Thanks for stopping by. Cheers everyone

Oh ya! They are so lush. Your doing a fantastic job on those.
I didn't realize I hadn't answered you, the bio-gold does amazing things to them roots, and the plants look better because of the beneficials helping with uptake of nutrients.
Green planet has good product for a fair price.
I've even been using it around the yard, newly planted shrubs and tees. They love it. ✌️

Thanks suntana. Yeah, they look really healthy. Green planet does have great pricing. I'll take a look at the Bio - gold next time I'm at hydro shop.

Day 53

Looks like I will be moving residences come end of December. Had to fast track my latest grow so that I will have everything done, harvested and dried by end of November. Had to squish everything into my 4x4 flowing tent. It's real tight in there.

I have two bubblelicious I was planning on keeping for moms. Stuck them in flower tent too although I'm still thinking of tossing them cuz they are gonna be monsters. Not enough room.

420-magazine-mobile387963307.jpg

I've noticed quite a few small tiny black gnats chewing on some of my babies leaves. Thinking they might be fungus gnats I've read about. First time I've had them. What's the best way to get rid of them? Let the coco dry out more? Was gonna put a bit of h2o2 next water.

Heading out of town for 4 days so I will have to set up the auto drip for the clones in 1gal pots. The back ones halfway done flowering don't drink that much and would probably survive, but the two moms are dry every morning. 5 gallon pots will be fine.

Cheers from British Columbia everyone. Hope everyone had a great long weekend

Just replaced the bulb in my cool tube. I bought my last ones on amazon. Think they were close to $20 each. Lasted a couple grows. Played $50 for this one at local hydro shop. Bulbs aren't cheap, there was some there over $100 CAD. Dunno what kind of difference they really make or whether it's worth the extra $70.

420-magazine-mobile1381629034.jpg

Think my next grow will involve converting a couple wardrobes and putting some Vero 29s in there for a stealth setup. Last inspection I had on my rental unit came as a surprise. Had to pack up everything during lights off and cram the babies into the closet after work and then rebuild everything right after. Exhausting and I never want to do that again

I don't know how you're keeping that jungle tamed, Neil. That said, I wouldn't mind having your problems as far as those verdant ladies go. Best of luck on creating some space for a more discreet grow next time. Damn the man!
Yeah, it's about to get very difficult to keep in check. Hopefully these guys don't stretch too much

Day 9 Flower

They stretched like crazy while I was away the last 5 days! Tried my best to subdue em...

Fed them all week 1 flower nutes with 20ml/g root builder 10ml/g terpinator and 1 drop of ph down per gallon. I don't use massive... Should probably pick it up and at least try it. These feed ratios for terpinator and root builder are crazy.

420-magazine-mobile692238308.jpg

The timer I had for the auto drip failed it seems while I was away for the last 5 days. Somehow all these 1 gallon bubblelicious clones and moms stayed alive! Lost a few leaves, but they seem to be ok.

Way too crowded in there. Moved the bubblelicious moms back to closet under 250 watts of cfls. Gonna try to maximize this grow as it will be the last one before I start working on a more stealthy setup. Not a great deal of light on each. I'll be glad for anything close to an ounce off each.

Thank you for stopping by everyone

I would say use it 2weeks into flower for sure.

Thx. I skipped one watering with it, but I added it in for yesterday. I'm only watering them once a week right now except for chocolate-mint-og who's dry after 4 days. Should I be watering them more often? I've seen people say they water 2+ times a day in coco, but there's no way I can do that in these 5 gallon pots

Yeah, I think I'll wait another week before feeding every day. I only run 600W so definitely don't drink as much. 600 gives me way more than I can use although I certainly try

Thanks suntana! Everything seems to be on auto pilot with this grow. I'm definitely gonna credit Humboldt seeds for their great genetics.

420-magazine-mobile88759583.jpg

420-magazine-mobile535131181.jpg

Fed everyone the same. 4.5ml procal, 4ml micro, 1ml grow, 6ml bloom, 20ml root builder, 6ml liquid w8, 10ml terpinator, and 1 drop ph down. All measurements per gallon. Approximately 1 gallon each got a bit of runoff. Chocolate-mint-og needed an extra litre or so.

Does anybody defoliate in flower? Id like to think them out a bit so more light gets to lower growth. Just worried about hurting them. Should I wait till they stop stretching? Or just remove a leaf or two every day? What does everyone think?

These ladies are cruising to the finish line now. Starting to pack on some weight and are flopping everywhere. Doing pretty well even on the outside with less light although I've been moving them around a bit every week
