Surviving in poor conditions outdoors

Z99 @brothersgrimmseeds is now 4 1/2 feet tall thriving in very wet suboptimal conditions. I cut down my 2 stunted autos as they had some bud rot. Decided to try cloning the z99 because I may need to save these genetics if it is the only plant that will survive the harsh outdoor conditions where I grow. I will need to devise a way to cover these to avoid bud rot. They probably will be at least 7 ft tall towards end of flower. Should be interesting...
