Swollen Calyx? What’s going on?

Greetings. My first post after I made an account after seeing the plethora of information this community bad to offer.

here’s my situation.
I’ve got four plants. All autoflowering. 2 nyc diesel and 2 amnesia haze xl.
Plants are just over 30 days old.
All growing faster than I had hoped.

while tending to them I noticed something.
The calyxes either seem extremely swollen or perhaps I have plants that have hermaphrodited.

Here’s a couple pictures. I hope someone can share some insight. I’m just unsure at this point.

I’m still very new at this and appreciate any help.

calyxes swell... it's what they do. If it were pollinated, this is where the seeds would grow. If it is not pollinated, resin will fill these sacks. It certainly does not mean that you have a hermaphrodite.

What Emilya said and also if they were pollinated the hairs would all turn dark brown and curled on that bud. This late in flower you can also lightly squeeze sack to feel if empty. Most likely there are no biscuits in the oven.

Those calyxes that grow right by the stem are usually the first ones to form, and they usually swell long before the final pre harvest swell. I have had this happen with all my plants so far. I would ignore them unless you start to see a seed in there.

That’s kind of what I was hoping to hear.
