Ok so I was gifted a clone of Tangerine dream from a good friend of mine on May 15th. All I’ve been using so far is Fox Farm Ocean Forest potting soil and Ph balanced water usually around 6.3 . I added a bit of cal mag “2.5ml x 4L water” by green planet nutrients.

That's only 112 grams, lol, so I'd fawkin' hope so. Otherwise, why bother, lol? If not, it'd probably be cheaper to buy it.

Just remember, you're lighting the space, not the plants - and then you fill that space with plants. Whether you do it with one plant via an extended growth phase, or via multiple plants is entirely up to you.

I actually have a seed of this in the breeder's "single seed" packaging. I've just read so many grow/smoke reports over the years that ranged from mediocre to downright poor that I haven't bothered to consider growing it as of yet. I just now read one over at "GC" (I'm not a member, but I can use a web-search engine, lol) in which the grower stated:
Let me put it this way I disliked it so much I gave the 5 oz's I had away to a friend of mine and he gave it back lol... Truly don't understand how this strain took the Cannabis cup.. IMO I don't think it should even have been entered.

A lot of people were really hating on the breeder several years back, and I seem to remember that a significant amount of that was due to Tangerine Dream. But this was... IDK, 2012 or not all that long after, so who knows?

Things like that, well... they may or may not accurately reflect the strain - but they are enough to make a person think twice about expending the resources (one of which being time).

Come to think of it, there was (IIRC) a lot of grumbling about yields on top of everything else, so maybe your poll question has more merit than I originally perceived it as having, lol? Although sometimes that's just a side-effect of releasing an unstabilized polyhybrid that's got a good bit of sativa in its genetic makeup, because not everyone expects buds that aren't exactly dense (or the occasionally reported 13-week flowering times).

Good luck on your grow! And please post a grow/smoke report in one of our two "strain" sections afterwards.

Yeah I’m not the biggest fan of this strain but by friend swears by it
