With rope or twine whatever you can get a bit of movement in the ropes to change where exactly you want the tops to come up or go under. If its metal you lose that choice.

Ended up using tomatoes cages, and ran cloth string a Scrog/tomatoe
Still have my pvc framing but wouldn't be very helpful at this stage of my grow.
