New to growing in Coco and having brutal problems keeping plants healthy once they move into flower. Mainly what seems like Call-Mg issues but trying everything atm to get my babies back to full health.

I'll update this thread later today with some more info and some pics.

Big ups to all the knowledge the OG's of this magazine have spread over the years...full respect!

I've had a passion and love of weed since my teens & could only dream 30yrs ago that the fight to recognise all the benefits of this amazing powerful plant.

Cal Mag problems for me (Coco with Co2) are generally they are greedy bastards for it. They get 2-2.5ml p/l Calmag Every day from seedling. I use a 4-0-0 Cal Mag with added Iron.

Welcome to 420magazine.com!
Yeh man, I've found them to be ok thru 8weeks of veg but 1-2weekz after being switched to bloom I'm hitting them with 2.5ml/l every water & have done 2 foliar sprays, tried Cyco Dr.Repair....its slowly getting better I just don't want it to hit the bud.
I'm thinking of adding some black molasses which is meant to help nute uptake...anyone had any wins with molasses?

Yeh the lighting doesn't do it full justice!!

Here's another update, I added Aptus Final Boost a week ago and it has made these babies absolutely EXPLODE!!
I pull one plant last night, it was 100% under the HGL249 LEDs and has ripened and ambered up quicker than the other 2 plants which look to be about a week away.
.I'm in disbelief with the Aptus powder! I'm also adding double dose of Nutrifield Crystialic as the finalboost does reduce the oils slightly. I'll be adding molasses tomorrow for the final week to see how much that balances out the massive bud growth & density... especially in the last 2 day!!

I'm in a 2.4m x 1.2m tent. Mars Hydro FC8009 covering one half and 4 x HGL249s covering the other half. I run the FC8000 at full power (780w) and HGLs at full power. The HGLs have done many hours of operation, there is slight variation between lights output but that's minimal. I've gotta give it to the HGLs the plants ripened quicker and are just as dense if not more than the FC8000. The FC8000 seems to be making the nugs frostier & definitely the Aptus Finalboost is pure plant steroids used. In the last 3 weeks. In 2 days I've gotta guestimate at least 30% increase in bud size. With another week to go at this rate I'm excited to see how big can they go!!

I've put my next round into the free space and switched them to 12/12 + bloom nutes. They've had 8weeks of veg and are begging to be moved into the 56l pots and SCROG'd like crazy, I've been topping a plant every 3days so there plenty to play with.

Also have my drying tent dialed in m, humidity and temps in an acceptable range. Wanting to get a large block of dry ice to place into the tenant but just to busy attn.

This is my 2nd grow of Grape Diamonds and I'm Hella impressed with her. Massive yielding, sticky AF, and a really nice smooth smoke.

Peace all 🌈

Just be careful with that dry ice! I see you have Inkbird sensors - if you don’t have one get an Inkbird Co2 sensor. We have a couple of controllers for the 100kg tanks we use of Co2. The highest readings I’ve ever seen were last week. We put this white cooler box in with the left over dry ice from kief.

IMG_9587.jpeg

We hit 1800 PPM Co2 with the box closed and sealed. Its our flower/dry room. 3x FC6500’s and between grows.

But because the dry ice was contained there were no cold air benefits just Co2 as it sublimated. I threw some autos in there in flower to take advantage of the gas but I’m not sure how you could chill with it safely in an enclosed space.

With the name Mika is real ice (or outside air) not an option?

Take care with Co2 - its no joke!
