Top-feed Hydroponics with Bushmaster

After using ebb and flow successfully, I switched to top feed to cut down on the mess when using rocks in the trays. I HATE the clean up. I tried using soil, but the mess of dirt and having to water manually just got to me.

So, top feed using deposible material is my next attempt.

I started 10 bagseeds from a couple of friend who had some really good weed.

I took clones from the plants to determine the sex. This is a very long final dirt crop. The next time I use dirt, it will be outdoors.

Plants: Bagseeds from some really good dope

Planting method: Top feed hydroponics

Nutrients: GH 3-part with Humboldt Bushmaster to control plant height. I also will add FoxFarm Open Sesame and Seastie Bloomz.

Lights: 400w HPS

Water: r/o DI water with a TDS of 1ppm. I will suppliment with Cal-Mg.process, but I had time since the flowering room was busy with my 1st dirt crop

pH = 5.6 - 6.0

Feed pump runs 4X a day when the lights are on for 15 mins

PPM = start with 780ppm and will increase to 2000ppm within 2 weeks of 12/12

I ran Bushmaster for 4 days. 16ml in 10 gallons of R/O water. The plants are budding, but very very short. I think next time I will veg until the plants are 12" tall. I started the plants at 6" tall.

The leave on a couple are deformed. I will post pics later.

Could have been a good grow. Probably trashed due to misuse of Bushmaster. I don't know who would grow six 6 inch plants under a 400 watt light /:
