I have had these clones for 20 days. It took them (and me) a while to acclimate - this is my first ever grow.
I've been so tunnel-visioned (setting up the grow and adopting my first "children) that I fear I've allowed them to get too large for my space (24" x 27" x 8'). The three plants are 12 - 16 inches tall and pretty much fill the area above their fabric pots.
Advice, anyone? I've read several articles and posts on topping, fim'ing and LST. I want to LST, but fear it's too late. Plus I don't think I have enough room for all the branches around the outside of my pots. And If I top them, I'm worried about too much bushy-ness. The tops seem too big to LST, too (if i leave them on).
If I top, how far down can I go? Just the new growth? I've read conflicting information on this.
I really don't want three Christmas trees
I can/will add screen(s), ties, whatever. Clearly I'm at odds now what to do. Ideas, anyone?
Thanks in advance.
