Hey @ExNavyInSTL, your leaves look amazingly healthy. I would guess the bites are from a caterpillar. The damage looks isolated. Maybe the critter is no longer there, but you can keep an eye on the situation. The caterpillars can be camouflage light green. I would just pick 'em off.
I'd say avoid putting peroxide in your soil... it will kill beneficial soil microbes.
