UK Auto Window Grow - Royal Dwarf

Hi guys i go by the name of Foggybrain.

I have been a tree consumer for many years and have finally decided to start from the bottom of the growing chain and hopefully work my way up. So i have chose to grow my auto in my window with a 12/12 light scheduale (12hours on window, 12hours in the airing cupboard) just so i can get a feel for growing and slowly talk the mrs into growing with artificial lights. So on about the 31th March i recieved my 3 auto flower seeds and started the gerimantion process straight away with 1 seed, i did this by folding some tissue up while dampening it with a spray water bottle and then slid the damp tissue into a plastic baggy (seed inside the tissue obviously). by the 2nd April the seed had a nice root popping out by about 2 inches so i put her i some regular soil in a small pot (maybe a bigger pot would of been better as i hear they dont like to be transplanted) the growing process seems very slow, maybe due to lack of good light, normal soil (no coco etc)

anyways my little plant is now 11 days old since breaking soil and here is what she looks like now.

Today the clouds are out but the last week has been rather sunny. Now i know the weather isnt the best in England and i know i'm not going to get all that of a yield, But never the less i am very excited about my first little budget grow and advice and feedback from anybody would be muchley appreciated. Ow and i have a biobizz try pack which should come through the post tomorrow which includes 250ml Bio Grow, 250ml Bio Bloom and 250ml Topmax.

Thanks and please be easy on me ha

Ive just spent 30 minutes writing this reply and deleted it all by accident :) so decided to write it a bit different now! LOL ..... Anyways here is her feeding schduale since week 2 as week 1 was just a water feed beacause i had no nutes.

week 2
1/4ml bio grow. 1/4ml bio bloom. 1/4ml topmax. I let 1litre of tap water sit in a crab bucket for 24hrs+ with the nutes mixed in also. I would feed half the litre first, then the other half a couple days later and then a water feed a day or 2 after that.

week 3 every feed from here on i will follow the same procces as week 2 apart from different doses and the added calmag.
1/4ml bio grow. 1/2ml bio bloom. 1/4ml topmax. 1/2ml sensi calmag xtra(bought the calmag as i hear biobizz in the uk has low magnisum i think)

week 4(not started this feed yet as soil is still wet)
1/2ml bio grow. 1 1/2ml bio bloom. 1/2ml topmax. 1ml sensi calmag xtra

Since using the nutes Dwarfy has grown a little faster but nothing major(over all she is a very slow grower) probably due to me dropping her two weeks ago on the floor. she was covered in soil not even in the pot, when i checked her out all of the soil was seperated from all of her roots so i taken advantage of this by mixing the soil with perlite as my soil contains peat in it. Today i added about 2 inches of perlite at the bottem of the soil as i hear that might help drainage also.

Anyways here a few pics i taken of dwarfy just a couple of hours ago.

I take her out of the airing cupboard at about 7/8am and recently been putting her back in at 8.30pm'ish. I got some netted curtains a couple week back also for when i move her to the oposite window as that window can be over seen by another fellow attic person lol(this may affect the light but not much i can do) . I was thinking about the CFLs for dark days, but i think ill keep this strictly how im doing it untill the next time :)

Thanks for reading and let me know if any questions etc.

Ow and she has developed a nice smell when up close :)

Hope all is well in your world.

Is this grow still alive?

We would love to be updated with some pictures and info.

How about posting a 420 Strain Review?

If you need any help with posting photos, please read our Photo Gallery Tutorial.

I am moving this to Abandoned Journals until we get updates.
