When pictures are up loading the word " insert " is in the upper left corner, my left not yours. what does this do ? what do I insert

I believe that "insert" button is for if you want to place photos between text instead of the having the. All grouped down below.

Also this does the same thing as the insert......again I believe 
that's the standard way to import a pic from the forum gallery.

You just press "attach photo" and select it from your gallery
