How do you smoke out of a box vaporizer? Do you keep the whip on the heating element?

you put a small pinch of herb on the screen, just enough to cover it.

then when the vape is at the right temp, something like 200c you put the whip on and inhale slowly. at first you will get a noticable amount of vapor that you can see, but for the majority of the bowl you can't see the vapor but you can feel and taste it.
