Hey Friends.

Quick update and some shots.

[DAY 10]

Sour "Suzie" Tangie seems to be loving the setup so far.

Where as the Auto Blue Diesel seems Frozen in time, and aptly named "Elsa". :)

She's going on 35 days with no growth or death. hmmmm

I'll let her keep going for now, let's see what happens. I'm interested to see if she survives and how much she'll produce.

I'm sure I've stunted her with the initial issues.

Going forward I'll plant directly in the 1 gallon fabric bags and start the lights at 20-40% brightness.

Ohhh, fond memories of Sour Tangie dispensary smoke, DNA genetics I believe it was. I’m looking forward to this already!

Hey DutchinAB!

Nice. Ive tried Sour Diesel (my favorite) and Tangie (Loved it) but never Sour Tangie.

I am so looking forward to tasting it, as well as hopefully finding a great mother from these 8 ST Fem seeds I have.

If the Auto Blue Diesel doesn't grow any more by Saturday, I'll just plant another seed. :)

Hey Fellow growers, and lurkers interested in starting a grow journal. :)

Quick update and some shots.

Sour "Suzie" Tangie is looking great and on her 2nd node. I only fed her once from the top after planting, and then filled the reservoir with 4 gallons of PH'd (6.0) water. The net cup is submerged about half way so the roots may search for the water and start the wicking process. I'm sure she'll explode in growth once the roots each the reservoir. :)

As for Blue "Else" Diesel. I think it's time to lay her to rest and start with a fresh Auto seed.

I decided to pop the 2nd Auto GlueBerry seed I had, and will grow it along side the vegging "Suzie". I'll flip the lights to 12/12 once I harvest Glue "Giselle" Berry.

That's the plan at least...

Sad face.

Hello again,

Quick update and some shots.

Unfortunately the Auto GlueBerry seed did not pop. Sad face.

I immediately dropped an Auto Super Skunk seed in some water. I'll grow it along side the vegging "Suzie" and flip to 12/12 once I harvest the Super Skunk.

She popped out of her hull within 2 days.

I planted the sprout in the 1 gallon bag and top fed it PH'd (6.0) water a little while ago.

Sour Tangie is pumping along, although she seems a bit light green. Might be fine, but I'll keep an eye on it.

Both WG-1000's are hung at 30" and are set to 40% Brightness, on the 18/6 schedule. All done via the remote control, super convenient and easy to configure. :)

Hey again,

Quick update and evening shots just after lights on.

I truly like the WG-1000's. The built in timer and dimmer are great features for the price of these lights.

Not to mention the temperature has dropped about 5 degrees with both lights on, compared the previous light I had in this tent. That's a plus.

The remote works great, just make sure you have a good/fresh battery, or it will not register the buttons as smoothly. WEEGrow does supply 2 batteries per remote control. :)

Hey Friends,

So, I think I know my issue. I failed to fully submerge 5he hotpot in time. I should have raised the water level sooner before most of the coco dried.

Not sure why I thought the wick would start at the level I had it prior to last nights fill up. Ugh! I should have known better...

Long over due update.

I figured out what my issue was with this new system. The totes I used for the reservoirs are too deep.

Due to this fact, I failed to add nutrients soon. I was forced to use more water to reach out the net pots, and didn't want to waste nutes. I also did not want to top feed causing the roots to seek water from above intead of from below the coco/perlite.

I will swap out the reservoir for a 4" tall tote do the next run, was the roots on this Sour Tangie's roots have reached the solution. So I know only need to add 2 gallons of water (now with nutes) intead of 5 gallons. She was struggling for a week, until I added nutes. Again, I should have started feeding her nutes sooner. Life....

I decided to give up on the Auto Skunk at this post by as well. I ran into some built-in timer issues I think due to the wireless remote controller. I now have both lights connected digital timer for true 18/6 schedule.

I've reached out to @OfficialWEEGrow about this. Stay tuned.

Let's see!!

Thank you! :)

Yes, I finally figured out what I was doing wrong with this system with the above post. I should be ok going forward.

Sour Tangie is taking off. She recovered well after being bent over.
