What happened, broke main stem and plant exploded?

Broke at the split three days ago. Taped it and it has healed yet but two mains have exploded monster huge?
Makes me wanna break some more shit
Also gonna scrog, should I trim up some growth on these not really sure left is bushy

It seems when you break something on our plants, it causes it to panic and send supergrow to the important areas. Supercropping is the term I believe. Unless its too broke, that's a bad thing.
