Wild Thailand Ryder: 2

1/20
Week 5
Running a second week 3 on nutrients for more veg time

Topped her, and trimmed up to get an even canopy. Going to use those stem trainers I found online. So this is the first step. Now to let her grow a bit, then attach those things, and start to open her up to get more light in.

You can see the end result (hopefully) in the diagram I took a pic of.

Water is kept at 5.8ish pH. And temp in the 70s, humidity around 60-70. It’s low here cause tent is opened.

Let’s see what happens ‍:popcorn::popcorn:

Guys I need advice. I topped her and she stopped growing. I talked to Iceman. He told me to check my calibration of my pen. When I did it was wrong. It was reading 5.8 in the water. But it was really 7.4.

I put a clean bucket of water and new nutrients back in. I have the temperature anywhere between 75° and 77°. Humidity is anywhere between 60 and 70. I don’t understand what’s going on.

She doesn’t look dead. Just sad and no growth for like a good two weeks. Have you ever had a plant that was alive but never grew?

Just keep her in the zone. She will have no choice but to grow. Ph effects the plants rait of growth. If you reference the ph chart for dwc. The point of 7.4 is way out of the zone and you possibly hade a nutrients block also due to the high ph. Best thing to do is what you did. Now the plant is a weed all she needs is basic love to grow. When you start to make things complicated is when you have issues. I haven’t checked my ph in 3 days. But reading the plants tells me it’s fine. And I know my nutrients. If you have continued issues I’d suggest getting a better ph pen other then your starter pen get a Hanna some thing with support. The eBay pens are a great way to get started. And if I was only doing one bucket like you I’d get the blue lab digital meter Keep it simple and fresh

The leaves pointed down shows me there are still in shock. When she recovers they will reach for the light. My plants are the same age as yours. With the same nutrients and bucket changes. Just a few additives extra. But I calibrate my pen by weekly.

Yeah, somethings not right. This is her today. Still nothing. I was thinking it has to be the pH.
