Yellowing & deformed new growth in flowering?

I have an issue on a few branches where the new growth leaves are yellow & deformed. It's a little over 20 days into flowering. Im not sure what causes that. I've been trying to read up. Just not sure. They are Outdoors, sun & soil pots.

Outdoors means bugs or other damage that has affected the branch. Look closely in the folds of the deformed leaves with a magnifying glass. Bug larvae and mites tend to do that to young tender leaves. You might see anything unnatural in the cluster: eggs, webs, wiggling larvae, even tip rot from too much rain and cold temperatures.

If it is localized, and not all over, then it's just damage. If it's dead, trim it off to avoid disease. If it's bugs, you can either trim off the bad spots or spray neem oil or pyrethum on them.
