Welcome Lat. I'll have to check out your grow to compare myself. This is my first grow so don't hesitate to chime in with any advice.


I started some lst yesterday. Not much. Just on the 2 bigger plants. I tucked the huge fan leaves off to the side so all the little branches that have started underneath can get some light. That and I've rotated my pots 1/4 turn clockwise every watering. The smaller 2 don't have big enough branches yet to do any tucking. I'm sure that will change by tonight. I love having my lights come on at night so I get super excited to go home and check them after work every day.

Dude make sure you give it a few days before lst don't stress them girls. We know how ladies can get when stressed.

I just came home from a 4 day camping trip. Had the gf taking care of them while I was gone and they are huge! But all the new growth is twisted. I'll get some pics when the lights are back on.

Ok time for a real update. I was having a bit of trouble with my super cheap PH pen. It was like 5 bucks online. Well Thursday night I dropped it in the bucket I was mixing nutes in and it started going haywire. I estimated the PH and watered Thursday. Friday morning before I left at 630am for my camping trip and they looked good. Left a note on how to water them for my girlfriend since she was staying to take care of my dog. Also tested the PH pen and it seemed to be working. She watered them accordingly. Well I came home Sunday night and they grew to monsters, but all the new growth was coming in twisted. None of the plants were discolored or showing any signs of deficiency. Just the twisted growth. So thought what could it be... I raised the lights a bit and ordered a better PH pen. Since those seem to be the only things I could think off off hand. It turns out it was the light. They grew enough over the weekend that the light was now too close. All of the new growths starting to straighten out. I ordered a bit more expensive PH pen this time but it's waterproof and came with calibrating solution. The 7.0 and 4.0. To my surprise I've been feeding these plants like 6.0-6.2 this whole time with my shit PH pen. Glad I bought the new pen. I've been doing some tucking for lst. Just trying to get all the branches growing under the canopy to stretch out and get better light. My plants all seem very short and bushy. The THC Bomb has finally started stretching some and taking off. The rest are shorter and super full. Sorry this is a longer post. I'll get to the pics now. All are with the LEDs on. Some are taken through the green LED grow glasses.

I also have a few of these spots on a few leaves.

It doesn't seem to be spreading so I'm to too worried about it. I did a thorough check for pests and didn't find any signs of any.

They say when it twist like that it's a ph problem just head that the other day. As far as leaves and spots is that a whole in one on them?

Yeah there are a few that seem to have just deteriorated and have a couple small holes. They are the oldest and most bottom leaves. I think it's from being so low and resting on the damp coco.

They are 25 days from sprouting and it's only on 2 of the 4 plants. The light is.... idk I'd have to check when I get home. It's probably sitting around 24 inches maybe a little higher. And yes no pests 100%. I go through my plants every watering and I haven't seen anything except just those couple leaves. I will give it a more in depth look when I'm home and feeding tonight.

Day 28 and I've got some lady parts showing. The Northern Light Blue is showing the most and the THC Bomb has got a few white hairs. Not a whole lot to report in the other two. Roots are growing out of all the Smartpots. They are starting to produce a little bit of a smell. Just being consistent with my watering. Doing some tucking of the leaves. That's the extent of my lst. Here are some pics.

Friday when I get paid I'll be heading back to the hydro shop and picking up canna boost and pk13/14 since 2 are starting to flower. I'll be adding a little boost to the 2 that have started flowering. Maybe by Friday all 4 will be flowering.

Hey shoupa, would wait a bit with the boost until the stop to stretch. I ve read that by giving them boost to early they will put everything into flower production and you will miss out on some yield... however you girls looking very good, super bushy will have to arrange same products soon aswell. Keep it green

Day 31 still just growing like weeds. More and more pistels every day. All of them now have them except Smurfberry. Don't make it out to the hydro shop until Monday. It'll be closed before I'm out of work all weekend and Monday's my next day off. I know I keep posting pics with the purple led light to it but once I start getting bud and what not I'll start taking more with regular lighting. It's just a lot of work to get regular lighting for just a couple pics showing a few new leaves. But stay tuned because now that they're starting to flower the show begins. Anyone following along feel free to chime in when you think I should start the flower nutes, aka boost and the pk13/14. I have the feed chart from online but since the autos don't really fit in with the scheduled time frame and this is my first grow just a little unsure when to start them. I know to wait until stretching done but how do I know that? I did some half assed measurements of the plants. The biggest is the THC Bomb at about 2.5ft. Northern Light Blue is about 2ft. Smurfberry is about 1.5ft and purple cheese is a little over a ft. The lights about 1.5ft from the tops of the THC Bomb. Now pics.

Looking good man! Those girls are monsters compared to my plants which are on day 35ish from seed. Look forward to seeing those nugs fatten up. Are you getting any leaf curling with the light so close to some plants? I'm scared to go closer then 30 inches.

No not really I had a few leaves have one tip curl or twist but I had a shitty PH meter and after I got my new one all new growth has been coming in nicely. I wish they would stretch a bit and get a little space between the nodes and branches. They're literally just stacked one on top of another all the way up the stalks. I'll take a picture tonight when I feed them after work. To show how close. Next grow I'm going to do some more LST all I've been doing is just tucking bigger fan leaves to open up the smaller branches underneath to get some light. I think on all plants I've got like 4 main colas with a bunch of smaller coming up through. Hoping those will fatten up too.

For all of you who started following at the beginning my mom's plants being flushed. I think I'm gonna help take her down on sunday. She's got a lot on the plant for it being under a 400w (HPS is what I think I don't think it's a MH.) She did nothing with PH and used random old nutes from 2 different brands when she used to grow years ago. Just a small bottle of grow and a small bottle of bloom. She did grow in cheap soil from home depot. (Hence her gnats) I'll take pics of her plant tonight. I cut a little bud off the very bottom dried in in the oven on low. Smoke was smooth but I don't know how potent it was because I was already high from smoking a blunt with a buddy before.

Took some pics of the plants without the lights on. Took a few dead leaves from the bottom of the plants. Nothing new to report. The 3 are starting to bud and Smurfberry still hasn't even started yet.
