P'raps the deficiencies you've dealt with might have been plant strain specific?

Magnesium has shown on all strains planted in this soil so far. I've read LEDs draw a lot of Mg out of the plants, so I assume that's all it is. The nitrogen deficiency NLxBB is having is just due to vegging way too long.

I'll be interested to see how you like that drying tent once you get a chance to use it a bit... I was considering getting (a cheap) one too, but I figured for that cheap it can't be very good and probably a waste of money.

It's actually quite sturdy, it's an all metal frame and went together nicely. The material is fairly thick, but the reflective lining looks like garbage. Not really an issue though since its just for drying. It doesn't quite get enough suction to get that negative pressure I want, but I think rigging that small muffin fan to pull through that duct will fix that.

I went with it because it was cheap($45), and had a duct hole on the top so that works for my space.

I believe it is calcium as well, my guess is the Magnesium just isn't as easily accessible with lime compared to the sources of calcium.(lime, oyster shell flour, gypsum dust)

11/22 Got a photo of our skunk runt in her new home. She's still tiny, but not much smaller than my 9. She had a 3 leaf per node mutation but she seems to have corrected herself and is pumping out 2 per now.

11/25. Happy early turkey day folks.

Early on my update again but they needed water and food. Our flowering girls got a feeding with GO bloom, camg, and bud. NLxBB hairs starting to brown a bit. Couple more weeks maybe. Blue Kush and White Widow starting to fill in nicely.

NLxBB(5½ weeks flower) so sticky. I just wanna bury my face and motorboat those big beautiful buds. Looks like she's gonna net me a lot of super frosty trim.

Blue Kush(3½ weeks flower) filling in nicely. Mg deficiency progressing a bit. Increased her to a double dose of CaMg.

White Widow(3½ weeks flower) starting to fill in.

Closet Skunk&Kush SOG. CaMg for everyone, and the scheduled GO line for our front 4. Definitely noticeable difference currently. And the front left one seems to be taking off and leaving the other girls behind. Also sprinkled some worm castings on top of all their soil. Plan to flip to 12/12 next week so I'm hoping to see some strong growth this week. Filled up the swick also.

Northern Lights x Big Bud update. I've been curious to try some late flower defoliation, so that's what we did. I took her out and trimmed off 2/3 of her fan leaves. Any medium/large fan leaf with a visible stem poking out got clipped. We're at 50% cloudy/50% clear trichromes, so she's harvestable if this goes south. I expect 2-3 more weeks of flower, gonna let her run a bit late(50%+ Amber) We'll see if there's any noticeable yield increase or terpene production.

While I was shaving her, I noticed something. I accidentally snapped one of her tops during early training, I thought she recovered fine, but apparently not.

Oddly enough, the bottom node became my two largest "tops"

NLxBB, Blue Kush, and White Widow got GO bloom, camg, and bud, with a pinch of Epsom salts for Blue Kush. Since the swick is dry I tossed some books under Nlxbb and White Widow to even them out. Blue Kush has mild heat stress from being so close to the light. Might dig her down in the swick.

This week in the closet... swick refilled with front 4 getting a feeding of the GO line still, others getting Epsom salts now. They're pretty big now, so tonight is the first night of flowering. Set the timer on 12/12.

Thanks man. I was going to wait until January so I could get some better pictures at harvest, but I figured Blue Kush is looking nice for a January entry.

And I'm not even voting for my own plant. Did you see that monster Stage submitted on page 2? I'm torn between his and Atrain's 10oz Autoflower lol.

It is nice to take some nice pictures and get in the contest though. I'd really like that mars 1200, but who wouldn't lol.

Something odd with NLxBB at her lower leaves. They're all twisted and droopy. May be the defoliation, but I think she was just thirsty. She was as light as a feather. Blue Kush and White Widow weren't quite as dry but they got a feeding while I was at it. Each got GO Bloom, Bud, and CaMg.

NLxBB(7 weeks), maybe one more feeding then water only, gotta check her trichs out in a few days. No noticeable bud developement since defol but her smell has increases, and changed. She had a sweet floral odor and now its more like a sweet skunky odor. I'll have to get my wife to double check the smell, I get a bit nose blind from smelling them so much lol

Whatever is going on here.

Blue Kush(5weeks). She's putting NLxBB to shame with her fat dense buds. Gave one a squeeze and it's like a friggin rock! May just be the strain, or the GO bloom and bud for more of her development.

White Widow(5weeks). Nothing going on here. Kinda a boring plant.

Closet Adventures. They're huge. I over did the veg. Or the GO line works too well. They'll get a feeding tomorrow. Oh and disregard the middle ones tall size. She won't be in the final comparison(since she's in the center), she's just been getting whatever nutes I have leftover from feeding our front 4.

I have to move the front ones down to see the back. They're so tiny.

Lower leaves were just thirst. She looked perky today.

NLxBB trichromes are at like 70% cloudy, 20% clear, 10% Amber, so we still have a bit to go. Probably another feeding in a couple days and maybe we'll be at 50% Amber sometime next week. I'm aiming to harvest 12/14-12/17, that should have it ready just in time to gift it away lol.
