Howdy folks!
Haven’t had much to update. Purple Punch is ripenin again at around 950-1050ppm (decided to give her 2nd Kool Bloom week)

So yesterday I went to buy the 5-pack of FastBuds Gorilla Glue autos It is always a pleasure to deal with this guy!
Bought the Glue pack, and then guy starts to throw free sample seeds from the shelf and ended up with all these:

- 5x FastBuds fem GG autos
- 1x @Barney's Farm Wedding Cake fem auto (Wifey saw the pic of pinkish Wedding Cake promo and she wanted an own plant - So expect to see one Wedding Cake most likely in soil or coco)
- 2x @Barney's Farm Gorilla Glue fem autos

I’m stocked up right now!
And 1x FB’s GG auto and the Wedding Cake bean germinating now in glass of water!

Purple Punch will be harvested as the new GG needs the DWC bucket for herself. Germination prob takes from 2-5 days and first couple days it can grow the roots out from the RW or Jiffy plug before transplanting into netcup. …Oh shit just realized I need a new 6" net cup for the DWC, as PP roots has grown so I have to demolish the current one.

Added 100W LED panel ”spot light” for the lower canopy if the larf buds would swell up better

She still keeps drinking like 2-2.5L per 24h.
I’ll change the reservoir water in next couple days and by then shes going to get bout 200-250ppm of Terpinator only.

Trics are still somehow pretty cloudy and very little amber ones. But the amount of resin all over the plant is incredible!

2/3 Journal update


Hello fam & growers. Been like suuuper busy lately. Starting a new part time job and been preppin some stuff for 420mag SEO - As things get sorted and we start to compete for the very top google results.

Purple Punch getting close to the harvest. Thought I’d say couple last words about the first actual DWC growth/experiment.
I’ve definitely fell in love with hydro cultivation, hands down. I feel lile Ive learnt during these first experiments more than ever before! Many thanks for the support and guiding!

Purple Punch stretch/size got a bit out of the hands - should have at least topped her, but I was so afraid of stunting her.
The strain itself was very easy to grow, but I should have done more defoliation during the flowering. Lower 1/3 is basicly larf only, as @Mars Hydro TS 1000 did not penetrate enough through the bushy canopy. TS 1000 is a great budget lamp for ~2x2 tents.
60x90x130 space however, would need a little more than 150W. Compared to HPS, TS1000 has done superb job!

We’re bout to wrap this growth very soon!
Wifey wanted an own Wedding cake auto plant - her seed germinated already and she planted it! Shes bout to take a head start as my GG’s are still germinating in glass of water.

I’m having two GG autos germating right now. One goes into DWC and one might go into 1L air pot just for lols. (If the 2nd bean germinates)
I was planning to make something very interesting of it!! What would that be? I was thinking to build or buy this kind of scrog setup for the 1L pot:

Or two vertical nets around the pot to make it grow like a spiral - like ”Vilby Green” system. Google it!

Its called ”stem splitting”. It is a way more intense ”training method” which can be applied at the end of the growth.
Cutting the main stalk at the base forces the plant to go into repair/defence mode which SHOULD increase the THC content.

I just grabbed my phone for a sec to quickly post here. I’m in a hell of a trimming jail!!!
Been trimmin for ~3hrs straight and its 1:40am here.
Too tired to make a proper post so just a quick peek into

…Ive never harvested this much from one plant only Fuck me trimming some of the lower larf as theyre leafy af. And trimming larf/popcorns is a fucking nut job!

I’ll get some sleep now, and tomorrow expose the treasure.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes I’ve done stem splitting few times before. (3x NL Scrog journal & Cloning journal more about them)
Only thing is I’ve usually harvested them like 2-4 days after doing the split. So haven’t seen nothing special. NL #3 pheno (it was photo) had stem splitted for ~4 days before I chopped her and only thing noticed the nugs had slightly more resin on top of them compared to two other phenos.
I’ve the TD auto in mini DWC main-lined, which is perfect shape for the stem splitting at the end. Follow (LOL I’m actually asking) my TD journal and you’ll find out later.

Don’t worry the whole growth was pretty straight forward. Only issue were during the flowering as it was lacking Mg and I fed little too much K.

Yuh I already harvested the soil plant (little early tho) but PP smoke is damn amazing! As its described ”one punch to head and one to the body”
But this DWC plant seem to be whole diffrent pheno. The amount of resin on this plant, was just amazing… Ive only smoked some quick dried larf as Ive snipped sum off during the growth.
Tonight I’ll smoke couple samples of this new PP

Day 88 - HARVEST

Howdy fam!
Last night was sucha trimming operation. I’ll be doing the 2nd trim before I jar them.

So whats the catch???

- 185g (6.5oz) Larf/popcorns wet weight
Most of the larfs will be used to make hash. And I might actually cure some of the better popcorns. I was thinking to jar some of the larfs after 48-72hrs. Might be little tricky at the begining with high RH. But the reason behind that is to make them more tighter, as they’re…well you know larf..

- 570g (20oz) the rest/bigger nugs wet weight!!!
Only the very top nugs got like really dense. But I’m more than happy with this!
So total wet weight is: 755g (~26oz) Minus sticks and rest of the trim I’m hoping for about 200-250g (~8oz) DRY! If I manage to get three hunnit / 10oz dry I’ll be buying a second TS 1000

- 190g wet trim & almost full plastic bag of leaves
Trimmings as well will be used for the bubble hash. I’m having 2 full plastic bags of leaves (prev PP and BBK) also. That is a shit loads of leaves and thought I’ll make butter of it

Massive cords

Most of the bigger nugs hanging upside down from the stems and popcorns/larfs are between couple news papers.
Bathroom window slightly opened the temp is between 18-20C and brought the humidifier there to maintain ~50% RH.
Posting pics of them drying later.

With this catch I could lay low for the next couple months, but Verbalists garden never ends! Harvest all year round.
Tomorrow I’ll dump the photos before the chop and more about the new GG seedlings as I had to do little surgerys with them.

Most of the bigger nugs hanging upside down from the stems and popcorns/larfs are between couple news papers.
Bathroom window slightly opened the temp is between 18-20C and brought the humidifier there to maintain ~50% RH.
Posting pics of them drying later.

With this catch I could lay low for the next couple months, but Verbalists garden never ends! Harvest all year round.
Tomorrow I’ll dump the photos before the chop and more about the new GG seedlings as I had to do little surgerys with them.

Heh roots went ham. It was a great harvest but I’m not 100% satisfied to the ”texture”. Some of the nugs stayed pretty fluffy and airy… Hopefully that gets fixed little with good curing. The quality is good tho. It has a lot more indica effects compared to the soil pheno.

2/8/2022 Update

Helllo folks! Been kinda busy lately so updates lacking and Ive a lot to catch up with.

PP nugs were hang drying for about 72hrs - I accidentally let some of the nugs too dry before jarring them
Some of the smaller popcorns were jarred after ~48hrs and their RH is nice between 55-65%. But the bigger nugs their RH barely climbs up to 55%. Been burping the jars after it hits over 57% (so far Ive opened them once).

The final product exterior & texture didn’t meet my all expectations, as some of the nugs stayed pretty fluffy and airy. Due that didn’t give them a second trim before jarring.

Dry weight is:
- 45g (1.5oz) larf/popcorns
- 135g (4.7oz) bigger nugs
= 180g (~6.5oz) TOTAL

I guess thats a good harvest from a single plant.
A lot will be used to make hash and probs some dabs if I’d start vaping more often again.
